Driven by the Mission set out by our Founding Mothers in 2009, Alpha Pi Phi creates a rich membership experience by promoting a sisterhood united through love, loyalty, and friendship. Throughout your time as an active member, Alpha Pi Phi will instill you with life-long friendships and real world skills. Our organization is upheld by our five pillars: Sisterhood, Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Philanthropy, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) which inspire members to grow personally and professionally. Each member of Alpha Pi Phi is cherished for their uniqueness, and all they have to offer to Alpha Pi Phi and the greater community.
Life Long Sisterhood
Alpha Pi Phi is not just four years - it's for life. After graduation, you can expect the people you laughed with, studied with, and inspired you to be by your side for every life milestone. You are encouraged to make connections with members from all Alpha Pi Phi chapters, even well after graduation. Even if you weren't active together, you are still sisters!
Mentorship
You are automatically matched with a "Big Sister" during your first semester in Alpha Pi Phi. "Bigs" are meant to guide you throughout your time in Alpha Pi Phi and offer support adjusting to college. As an active member, you are connected with an international group of people who share your same values - and they are just a message away. Connect with alum from your chapter or someone with your dream job in a different time zone. Every member of Alpha Pi Phi is a potential mentor and guide.
Leadership Development
Alpha Pi Phi is proud to offer guaranteed leadership opportunities on the Chapter level. A leadership position on your Chapter's Executive Council will prepare you for a collaborative working environment, financial management, and community development. Holding a Chair position or joining a Committee are opportunities for you to hone specific skills such as event planning. Create the sisterhood you want to see!
APP's Give Back
Alpha Pi Phi participates in the Walk for Alzheimer's every year, and each chapter takes on philanthropic endeavors meaningful to their chapter. Our chapters have been acknowledged as the top sorority to raise money during the Walk for Alzheimer's on the University level. You can find APP's raising money for various social justice causes, trivia fundraisers, clothing drives and so much more.
